You must have at least 5 unique reasons as to why Destiny is better to prove me wrong.
I would have said 10 but I doubt destiny has even 5.
To every person that says Destiny has better graphics: You do realize that maybe borderlands was designed to look like a -blam!-ing comic, right?
-
You're right. I played borderlands 1 and 2 each around 300 hours. No way will I even get close to that with destiny.
-
Dancing. Waving. Sitting.(Not crouching, sitting.) Pointing. Cryptarch. ...and just for you. Xur. Bam! In your pie! ...Idk. I just tried to find random stuff. I like Borderlands. 2 kind of sucked though. It really did. I only hit level 45 and after that it just died for me.
-
1.you look cooler 2.you get to read grimoire cards 3.the badass tower 4.the cool ships 5.you get to go to the freakin moon!
-
2 months ago I would have told you to -blam!- off, after playing destiny, I would imagine your correct
-
Why would I need reasons when you are correct I LOVE the pre sequel.
-
Better graphics is what I see, but I can honestly say graphics doesn't matter, the story of borderlands is more rich, enemy's have unique characteristics, better loot, weapon variety, and better humor. Destiny is just pretty, that's it.
-
Yeah better at sucking.

Edited by Kami: 10/20/2014 3:53:39 AMBorderlands in general or the Pre-sequel? Pre-sequel is literally just a re-hash of BL2. I have all the dlc of BL2, boring as hellll. The jokes are absolute jokes as they are either generic or cringe-y. Loot is a joke, as it's practically the same as Destiny. I don't have time to explain on why I don't have time to explain how bad it is now. Oh, also the game is so lame now that even on Twitch TV, it didn't even surpass The Evil Within or any popular game. It didn't even pass Destiny.
-
how about you go play BL's instead of post on here
-
i like the loot system in the borderlands i hate how you cant fill out a whole skill tree
-
This is a Destiny forum, it's your burden to give us 5 reasons why Borderlands is better.

Annnnndddddd 1 more retard added to the mute list.

Can't wait to get borderlands this week
-
The feeling of playing Borderland and Destiny like watching Snow White and 7 dwarfs to Toy Story. The graphic in Destiny is beautiful, which you really want to pause and look around.
-
Both are good and bad for different reasons. Destiny is buggy and lacking in content and story. Borderlands has lots of story and loads of content, it also is much more viable for farming. But it's basically a re-skin of the old game that could've just as easily been a dlc at full game price. FYI I've played both and love both as games so I want them to be seen as equals.
-
The Evil Within is fun. That is why Destiny is better
wut?
Disclaimer: I played all of Borderlands but I only got half way through Borderlands 2 as I found it to be pretty shitty. 1. Destiny mechanics are smooth wile Borderlands mechanics are clunky 2. Well made PVP 3. Greater character customization 4. Loot is less common and holds more value. 5. not restricted to 4 players. 6. Destiny mechanics are so good they make 2 reasons.

The raid system (Vault), alone, is enough for me to put Destiny over Borderlands. It's by far the best content when comparing both games. Beyond the Vault, both games are kind of meh in my book. One of these days a developer is going to take aspects of both games and make a game that trumps both Destiny and borderlands. Destiny has good content, but the game is really lacking in many departments (immersion, loot, overall content, etc). I've sunk some decent time into it, but Im really at the point where I'm not sure why I keep playing, there is nothing meaningful to do anymore.

Borderlands is an insanely fun coop game with a good pve experience. Destiny is just as good but with a good pvp set up. Borderlanda pvp is just a joke

I started out with Borderlands on the ps3, and then played Halo on my xbox... And to me Destiny was a beautiful synchronization of the two. I love both games, so I can't necessarily say Destiny is better... But I can say that: 1. Better graphics- doesn't really matter in context to a game and it's gameplay, but whatever. 2. A sense of accomplishment- raids and strikes (especially nightfall and higher difficulties) are a lot more satisfying to complete; but both feature bullet sponge bosses. 3. Less guns- ik ik, that's borderlands whole deal, but when twelve guns drop off of an enemy, and you won't even look at them because they're blue? That's a problem. 4. PvP- while a lot of people don't care for Destiny's PvP, I like it, and it's better than not having one at all. 5. More overall customization- in Borderlands you change your skin, and your head. That's it. In Destiny you get to make a legitimate guardian to your own liking. However, I could also list things that Borderlands has over Destiny.

Edited by Carvoic: 10/20/2014 5:45:39 AM1. Destiny has better balance 2. Destiny has smoother gameplay 3. Destiny has more variety 4. Destiny has AWESOME FPS raids 5. Destiny gives me a bigger feeling of accomplishment I don't really agree with bungie on a lot of things but I won't lie about this. This is also coming from someone who has played 2 months worth of BL1 and BL2. Those games just had glaring gameplay issues.

You're kidding right?.........Borderlands is nowhere near the game Destiny is. First of all, the graphics aren't even comparable. Destiny is better by miles. Destiny has much more realistic gameplay. You can't even compare these games. Destiny is on a higher echelon than Borderlands. I'm not saying borderlands is not a good game, but it's nowhere near as good as Destiny. Come on man.

Borderlands is for children that need a reward for doing anything and everything.
-
Apples and oranges...its like saying WoW is better then Diablo3...they are two different style of games...in borderlands you don't meet ransoms unless you just matchmake...
-
Why should we state our reasons when you haven't stated yours?
