Petition to change pocket infinity's magazine size.
(I know this is a bit late.) This is a petition to change pocket infinity's magazine size to a higher amount (A 5 or 6 round magazine maybe.) Pocket infinity seriously needs a larger magazine size, especially because the speed reload doesn't change that much. I rarely ever see anyone use pocket infinity because everyone's using PLAN C (who's using an exotic fusion rifle that is.) Anyone else agree?

Edit2: Made me laugh, but a couple people seem to be mad at me for using the word clip, instead of magazine, so I changed clip to magazine in my sentences.
Edit3: Thanks for commenting so far everyone! Hopefully Bungie will take note of this and do something about it at some point soon.

Buff the base mag size to four therefore the gun is decent the player now has choice between stability or more mag size

I thought PI would replace my Purifier VII that I loved but it has not and much of it is because of the magazine size. It's an EXOTIC. It should be better than my Legendary but it's not. Even the charge time isn't that significant compared to my fusion from New Monarchy. Disappointing after all the work completing the PI bounty. :-(

Edited by Jin: 11/12/2014 10:10:26 PMCharge time is the FR main stat but Pocket Infinity has the worst in the game. There are low level rares that fire 4x quicker. Even with 100-round clips, it's still garbage without at least a decent charge time. Also, I'm pretty sure that a 'magazine' of rounds goes into a 'clip' and the clip goes into the weapon. It's old terminology but these days the two terms are interchangeable for what you reload with.

I used the perfect balance perk even before the nerf, but I agree that the magazine size should be higher. This is already balanced by the fact that each shot suffers a drop is damage.

4 RepliesI disagree, it started with 8 in the magazine, and EVERYONE was destroying with it in crucible. I played a rumble where every single person was using one. It was terrible. Now, it's not so great, but before it was too much. The problem is the full auto. With only 3 shots, you have to reload too much, but with 8, people with no skill became unstoppable. I'm not sure how to fix the problem, the guns inherent design makes it a game breaking type gun. Maybe they need to scrap the full auto instead, but then it wouldn't be Infinity would it?

2 RepliesApparently, none of you have been sniped by the P.I... I'm glad the mag size is so low otherwise, the entire enemy team could be killed with 1 mag event if they all spawned at once... Nerf the range, then I'll agree to a 5 max mag size.

I kind of understand why the weapon was nerfed, but a 3-round magazine for a full-auto weapon is absolutely ridiculous, especially for an exotic. I think a good compromise would be to increase the magazine size to somewhere around 15-18 and make the weapon fire in 3-round bursts instead of full-auto. That way it is both viable in PvP/PvE while still not spammable.
