1) destiny doesn't rely on puns to sell.
2) borderlands isn't better designed. Duping always exists. Game hasn't been out for long and people already found an inf money exploit.
3) single player driven. No pvp means less replay value for a good chunk of fps people.
4) dlc content was already found on disc. So it's no less innocent.
5) Honestly a very shallow universe. There isn't much more then what's in the game.

Reasons why Destiny is better than Borderlands. 1. Destiny does an amazing job at storytelling. 2. You get to know Destiny's main character alot, you almost form a bond with him. 3. Destiny's gigantic open-world lets u explore every inch of the game. 4. Destiny has an amazing variety in missions, no mission is like another, and you will never find yourself doing the same thing over and over. 5. Destiny's loot system is amazing, and only rewards the most skilled players.
