I find borderlands to just be really boring, probably because its so damn easy. No challenge
The story is unengaging, and while Destiny's in nonexistant, I really don't think either is better because regardless I have no motivation. Except in Destiny there is end game stuff I was excited to go for.
PVP is Destiny is great. Borderlands doesn't really have any.
Gameplay in Destiny is much better, handles better, solid, more satisfying.
Raid is amazing. Better than anything in Borderlands.

While I can't argue that Destiny has much better gameplay, Pre sequel (Which I bought so I wasn't a hypocrite on my critique of it) is actually much less easy than the previous ones. Well, at least as clap trap. In the first two I usually only died due to my own stupidity, now I actually have to watch out and pay attention, in solo play at least. I don't like playing Co-Op, I like going at my own pace.

Destined story was in the grimore the more you play, unlock and find the more of the story you can learn the biggest downside to this is if you don't know where or how to earn certain parts you lose chunks of the story and can make it difficult to piece together

Failure to play Borderlands enough results I. Immediate disapproval of your comment. The story does get a lot better as for gameplay though I'll give you that one.

I beat the first, and that was shit storywise. And was soooo damn easy. The second may get better, I dunno, I got about halfway in I think and then my co-op group fell apart, and I didn't enjoy the experience enough to keep going alone. I think -blam!-ing off in COOP was the only good part. It was still way too easy. I will give you that Handsome Jack was great. Shows that when they don't rely on stupid pop culture references they can actually make some interesting and funny content.

Trust me finish the second one the plot twists are great. But the real meat is in the second play through where you get these insane guns
