Failure to play Borderlands enough results I. Immediate disapproval of your comment.
The story does get a lot better as for gameplay though I'll give you that one.

I beat the first, and that was shit storywise. And was soooo damn easy. The second may get better, I dunno, I got about halfway in I think and then my co-op group fell apart, and I didn't enjoy the experience enough to keep going alone. I think -blam!-ing off in COOP was the only good part. It was still way too easy. I will give you that Handsome Jack was great. Shows that when they don't rely on stupid pop culture references they can actually make some interesting and funny content.

Trust me finish the second one the plot twists are great. But the real meat is in the second play through where you get these insane guns
