Seeing as we're getting a moon DLC with major offenses against the Hive and seeing as we have had plenty of time to run all rampant all over the moon, wouldn't it be great if the City deployed a group of titans of one of its orders to secure something like say, the abandoned colony base near the Hellmouth? It'd actually show that we're making some progress instead of feeling like a failing pest control company.
One could even add a new public event defending the new City outpost alongside these new friendly AI titans that do little more than act like the AI already in the game guarding their area. Occasionally, Fallen or Hive might attack them and you'd be able to see a firefight every time you enter the zone, making the world and moon seem more alive.
Thoughts?

True. Or are all non player guardians dead. Would have been nice to fight alongside lord Saladin or someone else at some point in the campaign even if they were practically useless.

I think the Earth needs recolonizing before the moon, but a great concept no matter where they put it. Many people have been fond of the idea of Chicago.

Edited by Gunship: 10/20/2014 2:18:36 AMIn one of the 'playthrough videos' used to encourage us to buy this game, I saw something really cool. As the ship flew in to drop the spider tank thingie, it knocked over two of the Space Shuttle Sphere Rocket thingies in the distance. It was really cool but served to illustrate the lack ofchange to ANY aspect of the worlds of destiny. Maybe there could be seasonal changes to the landscape. Or gradual changes to the way mobs behave. I love the new thing that happens on earth when all the hive and fallen start ramping up there troops on the ground. Havent figured out if its on a timer or random but nice change either way.

Great idea and it would make the world feel more alive.

Edited by skiddymark: 10/25/2014 7:55:42 AMI think this'd be great, Like a group of titans have set up base in an old fallen house area, they could sell things like basic armour and ammo And if ure in the area a public event starts where u have to help the titans defend their camp/temporary base from the same fallen house that they took it from in the first place, and instead of u doin all the work, some of the Titans would help with their guns, and maybe 1 or 2 on a mounted gun or something like that, Or maybe a pack of hive want to get the upper hand on the fallen and want to take ure base, Thoughts??? Edit: spelling?

Edited by CamsterHamster93: 10/24/2014 12:04:59 PMYou suggestion would make destiny feel more alive and give it more depth, an outragious suggestion and bungie would never go with that. They worked hard to make this game as dumbed down and lifeless as possible
-
You would think so, so I guess Bungie would douse your idea with gasoline and set it afire. They do that to anything you would think would be common sense.
-
I'm about it.
-
use npc like the other successful games? might as well redesign destiny

Would be interesting. Support.

I like the idea

It would be great to see some guardian ai outposts maned by titans. Hunters on the prowl and warlocks searching for secret knowledge to increase their powers. While all at the same time in conflict with the darkness on that particular planet.

Bump.. good idea
-
Very awesome idea here
-
Sounds great.
-
Absolutely. Adding some dynamic events into the world would help make it feel so much more alive!
-
This idea is like how near the loot cave the hive and fallen would randomly erupt into a huge battle that was fairly awesome. The game needs more things like this to make the world feel more alive.

I like this idea, bump.
