Seeing as we're getting a moon DLC with major offenses against the Hive and seeing as we have had plenty of time to run all rampant all over the moon, wouldn't it be great if the City deployed a group of titans of one of its orders to secure something like say, the abandoned colony base near the Hellmouth? It'd actually show that we're making some progress instead of feeling like a failing pest control company.
One could even add a new public event defending the new City outpost alongside these new friendly AI titans that do little more than act like the AI already in the game guarding their area. Occasionally, Fallen or Hive might attack them and you'd be able to see a firefight every time you enter the zone, making the world and moon seem more alive.
Thoughts?

It would certainly be nice to have some feeling of progress. Just a little nod to let Ya know it was worth it. Id personally like to roam the city beneath the traveller. Meet the locals

Agreed. Despite the effort to populate this world with enemies that magically remain bulletproof enough to provide solid targets from level 1 through level 30, it's a distractingly static sort of place once you've been through it a handful of times. Something like the suggestions here from OperaCookies would be a welcome start to making this world breathe. Personally I'd like to see players in the shared world combat areas segregated according to the chapter of the story they have completed, and experiencing different degrees and patterns of enemy activity. Once you've broken the siege and saved the universe from the Big Bad, you shouldn't be tripping over his trifling minions all over again each time you open the drawbridge. Something else should be happening around you.

With out a solid interaction with npc the game feels quiet lifeless. Funny considering the amount of real players in the game but if the game had more npc with their own back story, side missions exclusive gear ect... It would give the game more interaction an social depth and make things more interesting (spice things up) add a little bit more mystery to the game.

It would be great if SOMETHING changed to show progress.

Another good idea, it's a bump.

I have always thought about stuff like this and think it is a great idea, maybe have warlocks analyzing things in the facility.

this is a cool idea. anything to make the game world seem more alive and fluid and reactionary is always good imo.
