People with minimal skill, and not a lot of time to play the game.

So people with lives? As for the no skill part the first time I ever played a Halo game I destroyed. This is when I was 11 might I add. All it takes is a few shots and a slap to the face with your gun. When it takes 2 clips to kill you and you are basically immortal things arnt very hard. If dieing fast constitutes a game for casuals then counter strike must be the most casual game in existance.
-
Aren't very hard so if you get the first 3 shots on somebody and get out brd it isnt because your bad? It allows for you to actual turn around and embarrass bad people rather than get killed by people hiding because you die in a couple of bullets. A few shots and a slap to the face huh, thats how i can tell you havent played anything other than low level ranked or social. I bet you havent played high level cod either. I have and can easily tell you halo takes way more skill than cod ever will.
-
High level cod? What does that even mean?
-
Gamebattles or something similar.
-
So like clan wars or league play?
-
More like league play less like clan wars. MLG variant gametypes. Where certain things are banned etc to balance it out more.
-
League play is pretty much all I played in BO2 and my clan and I are in the diamond division(the highest class) in clan wars. Although I had to stop playing league play because hard core S&D is so much more fun and tactical.
-
What rank were you in league play?
-
I do remember that in the gold division thingy I did win all 5 games so take that as you will.
-
I think winning all 5 placement games put you in gold or platinum than youd have to win a lot more to get masters
-
I digress. I have played "higher level" cod and It felt much more fulfilling than shooting green plastic people with one of 14 guns that you can't even aim down the sights to. Yes the sniper rifle and and pistol had zoom levels, but you had to click the stick and it felt ridiculously fake.
-
But you havent played high level halo. Thats the point im trying to get at ive been a part of both while you have a more skewed opinion due to only playing cod mostly.
-
I haven't played higher level halo because halo multiplayer is sad. I only played the games for the story because of how disappointing the multiplayer, and just gameplay in general, is. I had the same problem with the resident evil series. The game play was horrible but the story was awesome.
-
What do you not like about Halo multiplayer other than the fake feeling you get, because if that is the only reason that's pretty shallow.
-
Thank you for asking why, most people would just get belligerent and call me a bundle of sticks in this situation. The main thing for me is the inability to ads. Every first person shooter should have this otherwise you are defeating the purpose( this is the only thing I disliked about Fallout 3). That killed the immersion for me. Taking a lot to kill mobs is fine by me, because they are mobs with various attributes and difficulties. When you go to PvP, however, it kills the expirence. Being able to take 20 bullets and run away is stupid. Someone can run up, start shooting you, and you can then turn around like nothings happening and off them( this is why I now only play hard core in CoD). It just doesn't seem fair that I can get shot 10 times hide for 5 seconds then go back full health and kill them. It makes me feel cheap and it takes away any rewarding felling felling I could get from kills. My final complaint is restricted to Reach. The ranking system was the worst I have ever experienced in a video game. I have not played 4 so I don't know if it has the same one, but if it does 343 should be ashamed.
-
Well, thanks for giving actual reasons rather than blindly declaring you hate it, because I can respect solid opinions. But yesh to each their own I guess. I grew up playing Halo so I guess that could be a major reason that having more health bothers me less than having little health. I feel like if someone shoots me I can have time to be able to turn around and kill them or run away. You have to pick your fights and unlike CoD where I feel like I can lone wolf everything.in Halo due to high shields and stuff you dont want to try and fight by yourself especially against multiple people as youll get teamshotted and die before being able to kill anyone.
-
Getting teamed up on happens all the time in CoD. If you flank 3 people then you deserve those kills, even though they still have a chance to kill you, but if you challenge them head on you are not going to last long unless you are way more skilled than them.
-
Like I said it has been 2 years all I can remember is winning all 5 placement matches.
-
Shoot I'd have to check. It's been two years and I don't remember.
