You're right. Farming the same boss 50 times for a shitty version of the gun you're hunting is better. I also love the fact that in the end-game of borderlands A TON of guns became so weak they were worthless.

Rather deal with that, then give hundreds of engrams to a guy that give me nothing. And at least BL bosses have actual loot drops, not just money. Oh, let me go farm the lvl 2 mobs, since they drop loot.
