If not 'stories', more like 'categories of story' or 'spheres'
Science: Rasputin, warminds, Vex, Golden Age technology
Spirituality: Dark vs Light, balance, Darkness, Traveler, life and death
Survival: Fallen, Cabal, humanity, war, struggling in the wilderness
I don't like seeing theories like "OMG Rasputin is the Traveler" or "Rasputin is the Darkness", I think they are stupid because I feel they cross into the different spheres of the story.

Edited by Thanatonaut: 10/20/2014 7:20:44 AMThat would fit with the overall significance of the number three, 3 character classes, Human/Awoken/Exo 3 skill types, Titan/Warlock/Hunter 3 ability types, Solar/Void/Arc 3 available factions, FWC/DO/NM 3 major fallen houses, Devils/Winter/Kings 3 Hive cults, Crota/Oryx/Hidden Swarm 3 Cabal tiers, Sand Eaters/Dust Giants/ Blind Legion 3 Vex Minds Protective/Corrective/Prohibition 3 Planets Earth/Venus/Mars Past/Present/Future There are many examples of trinity/triad/Prisms(???) throughout Destiny. There are also foils, such as Fallen/Hive/Cabal/[i]Vex[/i], the Moon, the House of Wolves, "outside of time". These seem almost outside and arbitrary though seemingly hinting to something more. If the 3 rule fits there might be another unseen force besides the Traveler and the Darkness, and an outside foil to these could be something along the lines of the individual Guardian(player). There are many things we are not aware of and we have been given just enough information to speculate with
