No. He got it from Xur. The whole point is that there is no comparable armour for locks in the entire game. Leaving aside [url=http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/73153066/0/0]the fact that RNG is broken and in fact it is PLS not RNG[/url].

You need raid gear for your warlock. Helmet with raid gear or sun breakers with raid gear those are the best combos. Or void gang vestments allow you to spawn with a nade everytime. Sun singer with vestments. 2 solar grenades you automatically spawn with

Warlocks have to grenades without armor so yeah. It's not true

You cannot compare solar grenades to void grenades. You cannot compare two grenades from armour to two grenades that require you to use one subclass (which happens to be the support class and least useful for solo play and DPS). The classes are balanced apart from armour. Therefore, I take solar grenades into account.
