You cannot compare solar grenades to void grenades. You cannot compare two grenades available in all situations from armour to two grenades that require you to use one subclass.
But my post is about armour. Armour is seriously imbalanced between classes. Certain items for some classes have no counterpart for other classes, leaving the game markedly unbalanced overall.
The classes are balanced, apart from armour.

I can see why locks armor would be less. A Titan is a power class so they should have a lot...BUT the warlock armor is very unoriginal and bland, a lot of different named armor looks identical too other armors. Of course their armor could be a little better. But were DPS more than anything..
