You already have the systems in place to make guild alliances.
I want to see:
- guild reputation
- guild faction reputation
- guild shaders / class items / emblems
- guild planning features
- guild specific resources / projects
GUILD REPUTATION
Guilds have their own reputation for pvp and pve. Successfully completing missions in either mode adds rep, losing or quitting takes away rep. More ranks in guild rep, more guild options. Only the strong survive, guardians!
GUILD FACTION REPUTATION
For each city faction, your guild can add it's resources to any faction to gain special group rewards.
GUILD SPECIFIC ITEMS
Adds bonus to guild rep gains.
GUILD PLANNING FEATURES
Weekly guild messages, guild rewards, alerts for guild events (raids), scheduling on bungie.net and app to organize who is available and when. Alliance communication and resource trading.
GUILD PROJECTS / RESOURCES
When doing guild runs, you can earn and salvage materials specific to guild projects. Projects include guild headquarters, trading halls, shipbuilding shops, gun forges, etc.
Guild headquarter styles are based on which faction you have build them. Dead Orbit lets you guild a transport ship, New Monarchy gives you a building in the city, Future War cult gives you an outpost on an available planet.
Every guild has access to a room in the tower for guild business.
Thoughts, anyone?

Forgot to add: Firing Range, to get feedback on player accuracy, speed, coordination.
