Where are the SHADERS!!!
[b]When the beta had launched for this game all vendors[/b] within the tower, more specifically the faction vendors,[b] had an alloted amount of [/b]faction [b]shaders along with the rest of their inventory[/b]... [b]On top of that "Eva Levonte"[/b] (A.K.A. Woman who torments me with "refreshed" stock of the same dagum stock as last week)[b] Had an inventory that would constantly update and had a variety of shaders to purchase[/b]...
[b]Now [/b]the game being out for over a month and[b] a majority of players are wearing the[i] EXACT[/i] same shaders because nothing is available to us[/b]... [b]the game was supposed to be make yourself legend, [i]Not [/i]homogenize every character until they all look the exact same...

[b]I understand some loot and the necessity for keeping it RNG based but [i]SHADERS!!![/i][/b]...[b]Shaders are expressions of our personal taste and preference[/b]...there isn't some majical OP shader that needs a nerf nor buff...its a SHADER...and [b]people should be able to dye their armor to their liking[/b]...
[b]Shaders shouldnt be treated like an exotic item [/b]([i]unless they have truly exotic traits such as "Tron" lighted armor, or hive shaded armor with glowing green visor tints, in which case these could be harder to ascertain but should still be ATTAINABLE[/i])[b] and shouldnt be left to RNG[/b] [b]or the [/b]forsaken [b]Cryptarch to hand out[/b] in one of his oh so gracious "care packages" [b]for leveling him up[/b]...
If anyone else is sincerely dissapointed or simply fed up and would like access to more shaders [b]please sign/post here[/b]...

Signed... Shaders should be available from all vendors, with only the special effects variety specific to faction or events. Champion style shaders should give the player an RGB option that locks after selection, etc.

Signed this times a thousand. We need more earth time colors and to have the other rare shaders available to us. I'm tired of only getting shaders that make it look like a rainbow threw up on my armor. Give us more shaders to buy!

Stupid emblem-lady should have a wider selection of shaders that refresh stock and can only be purchased from her (such as some of the rare emblems). Everyone is starting to look the same, and that is getting lame.

Agrees with this topic,there are SOOO MANY rare shaders that Ive seen listed but I have YET to get any unique ones like the brown camo,the digital camo and many others. But Its why i grind so much during the past events not just to get the rank 3 armors/weapons but to get a different shader to make myself more unique looking. All those factions,Vanguard and crucible advisors should sell personal shaders. I think its about time Bungie also fix the shaders being sold,because everytime her stocks refresh its the same thing again.

I'm going to side with this request. I'd like more options as well, preferably colors orange, black, and white together. Like Ghost Angel, but without the camo ugliness. :P

13 RepliesMy problem with the shaders is that they are all so vibrant. I want some earth tones, wearing a bright red coat is so 17th century. Some muted greens, browns and blacks would look at lot better on the majority of the characters.

I've only gotten about 3 shaders from strike playlists / crucible. And they're rare. The only legendary ones I have are from iron banner and queens wrath. It makes total sense for factions to have their own shaders, especially when you're encouraged to wear the bonds and emblems to increase rank...

The shaders are f k n crap and we wont be getting any new ones soon because there too busy fixing the crap they think that matters not what us gamers suggest.

3 RepliesI agree with pretty much every thing you said. I was looking forward to having a bunch of different colors for different situations. A green shader or Venus' jungle, a reddish color for Mars, Urban camo for Earth and some sort of winter camo for the Moon. I was also half hoping that we could individually color armor pieces (Polar Oak chestpiece, Thunderdevil helmet, Chatterwhite gauntlets or whatever whacky combo someone wants).
