Where are the SHADERS!!!
[b]When the beta had launched for this game all vendors[/b] within the tower, more specifically the faction vendors,[b] had an alloted amount of [/b]faction [b]shaders along with the rest of their inventory[/b]... [b]On top of that "Eva Levonte"[/b] (A.K.A. Woman who torments me with "refreshed" stock of the same dagum stock as last week)[b] Had an inventory that would constantly update and had a variety of shaders to purchase[/b]...
[b]Now [/b]the game being out for over a month and[b] a majority of players are wearing the[i] EXACT[/i] same shaders because nothing is available to us[/b]... [b]the game was supposed to be make yourself legend, [i]Not [/i]homogenize every character until they all look the exact same...

[b]I understand some loot and the necessity for keeping it RNG based but [i]SHADERS!!![/i][/b]...[b]Shaders are expressions of our personal taste and preference[/b]...there isn't some majical OP shader that needs a nerf nor buff...its a SHADER...and [b]people should be able to dye their armor to their liking[/b]...
[b]Shaders shouldnt be treated like an exotic item [/b]([i]unless they have truly exotic traits such as "Tron" lighted armor, or hive shaded armor with glowing green visor tints, in which case these could be harder to ascertain but should still be ATTAINABLE[/i])[b] and shouldnt be left to RNG[/b] [b]or the [/b]forsaken [b]Cryptarch to hand out[/b] in one of his oh so gracious "care packages" [b]for leveling him up[/b]...
If anyone else is sincerely dissapointed or simply fed up and would like access to more shaders [b]please sign/post here[/b]...

That's a good catch. Throw this in there with the factions not selling all the weapons they have and their inventory not updating when different versions of all their weapons exist in RNG loot.

Signed. Because they have no perks and no impact on us what so ever. Purely aesthetics . I'm around level 60 cryptarch spread between 3 characters 37 on my hunter. And I've only received God of war and frost fire . I've been wanting thunderdevil and artic proxy for ages because chatterwhite is just boring now

Agreed. Also some way to get all armor to level 30. Even if you have to do the raid to get it. I don't like how everyone has to have the same armor.

I would like to customize the colors of my gear personally. Shaders are cool and all, but a lot of them are ugly as sin.

3 RepliesYou made a valid point faction shaders aren't around & Eva sold new ones all the time, not anymore though. I also hear people wanting more customization, however they want new shaders - I propose a shader combiner, a vendor or item that did that would give a huge range of customization from combined shaders

I don't see why they couldn't have a large amount of shaders that are purchasable in addition to having some that are rare.

3 RepliesEdited by Kuromugi: 10/20/2014 7:21:13 PMI had to start deleting shaders because I don't have the space to keep duplicates of the same. 90% of my shaders have come from the Cryptarch; Thunderdevil, god of war, broadsword, substance 321, Undercity, arctic proxy, 836278594828-27382993616273839, and a few others.

I forgot all about faction vendors having shaders. Where the hell are they and why were they taken out of the vendors sellable inventory?
