There is room for improvement in armour balance. E.g. I call upon Bungie to balance the example I gave, e.g. by buffing lock chests.
You can pretend that the game's balance is currently 100.00% perfect if you prefer. Bungie will be making adjustments. Player feedback will inform those adjustments.

Never stated it was perfect, and sure the gear will always have room to improve; but you're ignoring the class as a whole, which is what the game is balanced around. Not a singular armor slot or stat
