Do you need Crucible Marks?
Did you know that you can turn in 50 spinmetal for 5 Crucible Marks and Crucible Reputation and some Glimmer. The same can be done with Helium Filaments, Spirit Blooms, and Relic Iron. After you have 50 of a material go to the Crucible Quartermaster to turn them in.
If you need Vanguard Marks, you do the same but take them to the Vangaurd Quartermaster in the Shipwright.

I'm glad you post this our there for people who didn't know. I myself thought if you did the material exchange it would give you a ticket you could trade in for 50 of a different material. Boy was I surprised when my 50 spirit bloom turned into basically nothing. I learned my lesson that's for sure.,
