Oh, you get a package not unlike the cryptarch package. The thing is, each package is random in what it gives you. I've gotten everything from weapons to armor, with one crate only containing a mote of light. several crates, actually. The drop rate is incredibly skewered, that's for sure.

Ya it's a random legendary item. Could be weapons, armor, ascendant materials, etc. rank 11 new monarchy and can confirm that no shaders have dropped.
