I'm also a huge Borderlands fan, and BL2 is my favorite game of all time. That said, Borderlands The Pre Sequel not being on next gen is a massive mistake by Gearbox. Also, as someone else mentioned, Destiny plays smoother, and new oxygen mechanic isn't all that fun. I'll be playing and enjoying both for a long time, but I think Destiny will likely have a longer lifespan.
