Nice post, totally agree with you on characters being homogenized gear clones. Really not enough randomness to the randomized loot drops. Guardians need ways to recycle materials for other classes or a trade-in option for gear that they can't use for something of equal rarity. Edit: Marks need more usage as well, because once you buy the one or two items you want that currency turns into a meaningless reward. Same goes for glimmer. There isn't enough meaningful choices to spend my [i]vast hoard of 25K[/i] glimmer on.
