The game was not to make yours self legend in how you looked and what armor or weapon you had. You were to become legend in saving the world from the darkness.
the game was not meant for there to be 1000000000000 ways to make your toon so yo could be unique no matter what.. for there would always be someone else that would do the same as you or copy you. So there was never going to be true total uniqueness ever in the game.
And no they do not have to let you change every little thing about your toon just because you want too. This game does not really have to have that level of customization just because you think it does.

He is right anyway if everyone knew how to get these shaders than they would not have this level of importance. I really wants me a nice shader though :'/. Gilgamesh, achillies, beowulf, bloodpact the only things in circulation? Lol

LOL.. I have each of those mentioned.. and I have others too. Hell there is a post here that you can redeem codes from that will give you a few others for free.

It is a toon, it is nothing more, it is not a real person or anything. It is a game nothing more. they are nothing more than toons/characters within a game.

He is not 100% correct. For that is not how the game was meant to be just because he or others may want to think it was or should be.

I see his point it is a shader not something that will make your character a god which means it shouldn't be randomly handed like everything else since there is no point to them other than changing your armor color.

Dude refreshing the 4 shaders once a week or even every day would not break anything.

Hmm.. I have had over 20 different shaders so far.. have had enough that had to discard many of them just so would not fill up my vault with them. Gotten several from strikes and several from playing in the crucible.. so there more than just what she sell so is not really a big deal that they does not change them that often yet. Plus the game has only been out a month.. having lots of shaders is not a important issue that needs being fixed right away.

This is good and bad, but you could play for 5 hours a day get 3 shades a day, I could play 5 hours a day get 0 shaders a day. You could play and 6 hours a day, get nothing. I could play 1 hour a day and get a legendary everyday. The randomness cause this. Luckily with armor we have vangaurd vendors and what not. But it you don't stumble upon shaders there is only four for you to buy. All this because it's random, "your" experience means nothing except to say X doesn't bother you.

It is not meant to be the same experience for everyone. It is not meant to be easy for everything. It is rng, which means luck of the draw as in playing a lottery. Not everything is meant to be handed too you just for playing the game or given to you just because you played the game x amount of hours.

No it's not supposed to be the same, but time/ skill should = reward, and with RNG it simply doesn't. You can play for days and get nothing more than a free green and blues, Joey can play for a couple of hours and get a couple purple and yellows, that's not cool. My argument would prevent anything from being handed to anybody and everyone truly earns their stuff, not happens buy on chance.

Sorry but wrong, in most loot based games, time does not equal guranteed reward. Skill does not equal guranteed reward and it never has in loot based games ever. Guess you never played D/D2 where you could play for hours or days and never see a unique or set item and yet someone else in another game might walk away with a dozen in only half the time you played. That is how rng works and is meant to work. It is luck of the draw. It is not meant to be guranteed. This game is not meant to be that way just becuase you want it to so you think it is fair. It is not meant to be fair,. it is meant to be by chance just like any other loot based game out there. Go play WoW, LoTR, EVE, EQ, NWN, BL/BL2 and all of them are that way. There is no gurantee of items nor should there be just because you did X task for Y amount of time ever.

You do realize that earning the marks in crucible, the coins from the strikes, motes of light from decrypting things is earning them. So you do earn some things, You are not meant to have to earn every little thing just so some people can feel happy because it is fair in their eyes. It is not meant to be the same for everyone. It is not meant to be fair for everyone. That is how rng works. and yes it is fair that it works that way.

You seem to have not read the OPs post. He wants the shaders that were in the beta to be in the game. Which to be honest should be there but aren't. I was expecting the faction leaders to at least sell one or two shaders and I haven't seen them at all.

That is all probably content that will come in the dlc expansions.
