Have you seen the communities for WoW? Borderlands? Black Ops 2? Still going strong after tons of games that could have drawn away customers. A successful game would maintain its audience, not give up as soon as something new and shiny comes out.

Well look at mister Steven God damn hawking over here. My whole point was people will leave destiny for those games and when destiny crashes and burns, bunjie after pulling their heads out of their asses, will realise they farked up and that they are the best at destroying an amazing concept

I didn't say one game would kill it, I was saying a collection of games, each targeting a specific audience will kill it. Destiny doesn't have enough endgame content to keep a viable fanbase
