1. No terramopheus never drops for class anyone has
2. Arcade style co-op (strikes)
3. Private loot streams
4. Weapons level up with you legendary weapons dont get out classed by random greens after new game plus
5. Easier to level multiple characters
6. Character can be leveled to 20 via pvp only if tired of story
7. No rabid un-stagger-able enemy typse (unless the angry skull is on)
8. Six man raids
9. Way to grind for legendary gear not just rng
Destiny is not perfect by any means but these are the things i enjoy about it
English
-
reason nine is funny because destiny relys on rng just as much as borderlands
-
Which vendor in borderlands could you buy legendary gear from?
-
There's less rng in borderlands. You can go to a certain area and farm rather than just hoping for a drop from the world
-
Thats true but item 9 on my list was you could save up and buy legendary gear. There was no place in borderlands to buy legendary (orange) or mythic/exotic (powder blue) loot like there is in destiny. Thats all im saying
-
In BL:tPS...the BEST and fastest way to get leg gear is to farm the vendors.
-
There were vendors that's sold things though. There were torgue machines that had all torgue legendaries rotating and then there were the seraph vendors that you used seraph crystals from raid bosses
-
Ahh yeah forgot about the torque thing. Wasnt that only in dlc though? And the seraph black market was dlc too right?
-
I know torgue was dlc bc it was on the mr torgue dlc but Idk about seraph bc my friend had a pink gun and he didn't have dlc
-
Borderlands had trading though so he didnt have to have access to the area just the compatibility packs. So yeah i think it was dlc only. The powder blue loot was totally rng though. And to be honest if you could beat the bosses required to get sereph crystals you had better loot than what they could buy.

1&7 are just ridiculous 1:I can't tell how many engrams I got for a Titan that turned into warlock armor. The second I got a warlock to lvl 20 he jumped to lvl 24. 7: the unstagerable enemies are a challenge to beat and diversify the game further. But you still got 5/5 *emails cookie*
-
Edited by JxLegend: 10/21/2014 6:57:24 PMI missed one see number 9 Also engrams can drop from a level 2 enemy while terramopheus was a specific ultra level boss. We ran two axtons and two myas took us a while to beat him and he drops a buch of low level purples and a legendary class mod for zero...no one had a zero and it was just one there were four of us! Edit: level 74 terramopheus too. And thats after a week farming for a level 70 bee shield
-
You still got your cookie calm down The reasons that I said were tosh are still tosh
-
Better not be a raisin cookie Tiny Tina dont play that
