This is bull and I'm sad
Edit : It's the other way around. Dish dropped them. They got rid of G4tv and now Cartoon network

I worked at direct tv for a good while. Here is how it work. The owners of the TV stations ask the providers (dtv, dish, your local cable company) for x amount of dollars to be able to put their channels on the air. If the provider can not see making enough profit then they don't carry them. They go through these contract negotiations every few years. Its hell on the poor people at the providers who have to answer the calls from asshats calling in and screaming and cursing about it. And news flash to everone out there in a 2 year agreement ( contract) they can cut your programming any time they want or increase your price any time they want and you can't do anything about it but cancle and pay the fee to cancel. So keep cable with no contracts. All the big company's are crooks

Cartoon Network? I was sad that we lost G4....

Rogers cable where I live dropped all these good channels so before I had access to everything then just up to channel 42(discovery channel, which means 45 is teletoon and adult swim at night which I don't get anymore) then they limited it again so now I have access to 28 channels. If I want them back i need to buy another cable box.

Edited by Pheonix: 10/21/2014 9:22:34 PMThanks for the heads-up, and the feelings are very mutual. Adult Swim was just about the only thing I could enjoy watching on my TV, and now I'm probably never gonna see it again.
