This game really is going to die. At least as far as the developers are concerned. It won't go away and there will still be a decent audience, but the next release has already been tarnished and not a single person I know is willing to buy the Destiny DLC. WoW gets away with what it does because it UNDERSTANDS the addictive nature of a true MMO. Destiny completely missed that boat and decided a lottery was better, which it's not. By the way, it's exceedingly hypocritical for someone who says he's going to stick to Destiny to then turn around and call CoD monotonous.

Ahh okay so a game that has been out for 2 months is already going to die because again, they will never make updates or improvements. Right? So this is the game we will be playing for 10 years. Please. Also, explain to me how CoD is not monotonous? What do you do. The story mode one time, and then pvp the same maps and the same modes until the next CoD comes out. But I guess Destiny having much more to offer is some how more monotonous? Smart smart. And again with the fanboys....coming from CoD fanboys..........Smart smart smart. First off, I'm only saying die in terms of the brand. Destiny will not take off and it will not do better, as far as I'm concerned. I don't know a single person who's willing to buy the DLC for this game let alone have an inkling of excitement for further installments. Second, CoD can be monotonous, but Destiny is more monotonous than CoD. At least when you're playing multiplayer CoD FEELS different. Different people fighting you with different tactics, not to mention a slew of different game modes, multiple weapons that feel somewhat different. Here's what Destiny offers. One campaign mission (seriously, every mission is exactly the same, you just change the skins on the enemies). One strike (same as campaign) and three PvP modes. Loot you say? All the same I say. It has a broken loot system that no other MMO would touch with a ten foot pole, no trading, no real MMO qualities, BARELY any RPG qualities (about as much as a game like... I don't know... Call of Duty would offer) and the most monotonous mission structures I've ever seen in my entire life of gaming. At least in Call of Duty they TRY to do some interesting things. Crazy cutscenes, some quick time events, a plot that makes at least a bit of sense which doesn't require a thirty dollar DLC or leaving the game to look at a poorly optimized codex. You're a Destiny fanboy. You refuse to see the flaws in the game. So there's no point in my replying to you further.

I for one am not happy with how much was cut from the game, and how much we were essentially lied to for two years with what the game was going to be, and what we have now. But as I said before, in case slow-minded people cannot comprehend it, this game is still brand new. They plan at the least, 10 years of the game. Sooooooo 10 years is going to equate to 0 improvements? Very smart thinking there. Hope you enjoy the same CoD game you have probably been playing for years as it never changes. I skipped on a number of Call of Duty games, only buying the ones that offered something of value to me (namely, Black Ops 2 and Ghosts only for extinction mode which has been incredibly fun and well worth the investment). The reason you're a fanboy is because you jump on the CoD hate train like everyone else and REFUSE to accept that there are actually good, fun and redeeming qualities to the series. You think my mind is simple? Ha, that's hilarious coming from you. Unlike you I can analyze games from my perspective, see which games have value to me and then buy those. I also learn from my mistakes. I won't forgive Bungie for wasting my money. You probably will (hence why you're a Destiny fanboy, that and, again, your immediate jump to the "everyone rag on CoD train which is just immature).And you're overlooking not only the flaws in this game, but the flaws in the business model to give the game a break simply because it's NEW. That's stupid. That's literally stupid. That's not smart in any way, shape or form. The appropriate response to this game is skepticism. You've been charged $60-90 for the privileged of basically playing an unfinished beta. Same as Battlefield 4. Same as Watchdogs. At least CoD releases FINISHED games. Whether or not you enjoy the games mechanics are beside the point (for this argument at least.). I hope you enjoy wasting your money on Destiny, since your'e so simple minded and all. If I want to play the sheep card what? Didn't really make sense. And all I was saying was that I'll be happy to see this game crash and burn so bunjie knows they failed at making this game. And I'm a realist, I always knew wow would do well. But to compare destiny to the scope of woe is quite insulting to the geniuses at blizzard

A game that made what, 550 million was it? the first week alone, will not "crash and burn". But I guess it takes too much intelligence to realize that games get constant updates, changes and improvements. Or is this game some how different, and will never be improved on? But hey, go enjoy your mindless CoD ^^ No one here will give two shits if people leave. Pretty sure I will still be playing an amazing game no matter how many people come and go.

It only did so well because it lied about its size content and features, or in other words practically everything in the game. And most people only bought it because there is nothing else even remotely decent on either console atm. Once November swings round you'll be seeing a lot more empty servers

CoD AW is going to be the same as ghost in which we'll see a big spike on the scale and then it will drop. As for Destiny it will have a decent amount of people playing it every day. I am getting AW because i always buy tbe CoD games to play with my clan. But then like all the other CoDs i'm probably going to stop playing and maybe go back to Destiny once the dlcs come out
