Sorry Bungie, but you really should have kept the Halo multiplayer announcer dude on the payroll when you split from Microsoft. Every line that came out of his mouth was gold. In comparison, Lord Shaxx sounds lazy and uninterested in everything going on.
But even as terrible of a voice actor as Lord Shaxx has, it's not all his fault. Whoever wrote the lines for him should also be shown the door. Oh, but there's more. There is also a third person at fault here, whoever programmed the criteria that triggers his awfully-written, poorly-delivered lines. Oh, I'm 10 points ahead of the other team? "YOU'RE CRUSHING THEM." *Loses match 30 seconds later.*
I cringe whenever Shaxx speaks during Crucible matches, and I long for the days of an awesome-sounding "KILLTACULAR" to brighten up the match. Just hearing the gametype at the beginning of the match would get me pumped. "KING of the HILL."
Am I misguided in my loving affection for the Halo announcer? Will Lord Shaxx win my heart at some point?

While I loved the Halo announcer, I enjoy Shaxx particularly for the diversity in what he says during crucible. He'll either encourage you to kick the other team's asses if you're winning or call you out on how bad you're doing if you're losing.
