Are there that many players here that also like COD ? I wonder. The reason I say this is because the gameplay is day and night, and the reason I really like Destiny long time-to-kill type of mechanics is the same I don't like COD's instant I-just-need-to-look-at-you-and-you're-dead type of gameplay. Plus, a lot are here because of the MMOish aspect of the game blended with the FPS.
