You cannot compare one armour perk with a slightly different class perk and call that balance. These are two totally different things.
Your argument seems to be that warlocks are overpowered therefore other classes need better armour.
That misses the point.
The classes are well balanced.
If the classes were not balanced, gear would not be the way to address that.
And I am referring to specific anomalies in balance affecting certain items. Clearly, this is a case of some tweaks being needed to improve armour balance, and clearly not a case of Bungie trying to use gear as a way to balance classes as you suggest.

Ok, you mean the Gift of the Sun perk. For so many reasons, this subclass perk is not comparable to the armour perk in question. But the main point is, the classes are balanced while the gear is not. Locks also lack exotic boots. The list goes on.

Yeah I know. I posted Somewhere else about the 2 grenade perk for titans. Being available to all their classes overall cuz it's gear based not class based. I'm not arguing I'm just informing on the subclass for gift of sun.
