Trading System Idea for Destiny. Community and Bungie, Please give feedback!

I support a trading system similar to described.

I do NOT support a trading system like this.

Open up a trading system that only lets players trade items for items of the same class. Ascendent energy for shards and vice versa. Raid gear for raid gear of the same class, for example a Titan raid helmet for Titan raid gauntlets. Spinmetal for Spirit Bloom, etc. No engram trades. No Xur item trades. This could be done in a Elder Scrolls: Online fashion. It would help players become so much less frustrated with the game. I don't need a second Timebreaker. I don't need 7 Chatterwhites. I don't need a second raid helmet. A suggestion for distinguishing raid gear from regular legendary stuff is making raid armor a different color, for instance red. Then you could make the trade system block any trade for items that don't have the same level and color. One item for one item. or two pieces of raid gear for a raid helmet if you want to keep that on a pedestal (I think you can only get it from hard mode). If you don't like the separate color idea, then maybe a point system could be assigned to gear and weapons that must be made equal or within 1 or 2 points in order for a trade to take place. What do you guys think? By restricting the trade system in either of the ways noted above, you still have to earn your items. You just have an option if its something you're just going to dismantle and you need something of similar value. It will ease RNG pain. I posted a similar reply to DeeJ's post earlier, but I doubt it will be seen as a reply and I wanted to hear what you guys thought of this idea. Please comment below stating your support or opposition and why. If you think one idea is better than the other, then please let it be known.

  • Trading opens up the game to account hackers in order to sell (for real world money) items on a digital black market. Sorry, as nice as it would be, I vote no.
