To be honest I would be happy with Ward simply nullifying damage from the other supers completely then going out. I prefer to stay in the bubble and serve as a distraction to the enemy and giving team members a chance to pick them off whilst distracted or simply a safe reprieve.
Since certain other supers will not only bust your bubble they also kill you and anyone inside it makes Ward dangerous to take cover in because of the attention it attracts and the possibility that your attempt to help ends up luring your team into a false sense of security while you may just be giving an enemy the opportunity to pull off a nice multikill

Edited by DxFox: 10/23/2014 6:12:21 AM100% agree. The WoD in it's current iteration offers a false sense of security in both PvE and PvP. Enemies in PvE walk into it with impunity. And why is it that Atheon can't destroy my shield and yet a nova bomb from a warlock not only achieves this, but wipes everyone else inside it? Don't get me wrong, I totally disagree with the WoD being buffed too much to become the "Super Indestructible Disco Dome" but I think that if hit by a super the shield should disappear and everyone inside it should be fine.
