Reading through some of these replies I see some people are still raising the point about there being finished DLC content locked on the discs - despite numerous explanations by the community since the leak as to why it's hardly surprising there are inaccessible areas with placeholder mobs, etc etc. It's disappointing because the misinformation and opinions of some individuals, while not concerns to idly dismiss, are born out of a lack of understanding about game development.
So - idea. Let's educate and have some fun while doing it!
I'm sure Bungie is still going through QA with the DLCs. If Bungie showed a spoiler-free example of how the DLC currently plays, with examples of some bugs the QA department has found it would go a long way to demonstrating that the DLC is unfinished, rather than relying on the information from other community members. This could even be funny! Think - "Top 5 QA Fails" - I'd watch that and it might go some way to releasing some of this tension in the community - and that can only be a good thing.

While a good idea, it's likely in the polishing stages for the first DLC pack. There are largely completed zones and story content at this point I'm sure. They will complete the DLC officially likely 2-3 weeks before it's launch and submit it to whoever to make sure it gets ready to be distributed on D-Day. This means the illuminati conspiracy guys that think Half Life 3 is confirmed will also claim that the first DLC pack had been finished all along and if they were shown DLC pack 2 content they would just claim they cut out content so they could show it. All in all though I'd still like to see the behind the scenes but I know it will do nothing to appease anyone.
