Off topic and biased because I like his music but yes, he is considered a rap god. A man that can rap about literally anything you tell him to, ex a pen, and has one of the widest ranges of vocabulary of people in the field, as well as holding the Guinness world record for the most words packed into a song is definitely a god among the rap community.
