Nope, a feminist is someone who thinks women are better than men. A chauvinist is someone who thinks men are better.
And EQUALIST is someone who thinks males and females are equal.
Common misunderstanding though.

Actually, not, dear. Feminism, however bad might be the wording, believes in equality. In Spanish the words go as follows: Feminista: equality Machista: man is superior Hembrista: women is superior. Bad wording nonetheless. But, please, could we not start a debate about that here?
