I've Chosen Not To Purchase Suros Twice, AMA. What About You?
So the Suros Regime is in practically everyone's hands, the crucible are now belong to Suros. How does a guardian survive without the most noob friendly gun in the game? AMA
Passed twice on the Suros Regime, an AR that shoots sort of like an automatic hand cannon with no recoil. I've decided to avoid buying it twice, I still do fine in the crucible. AMA
Suros Regime might be for you if the following apply:
A) You can't control recoil and suck at FPS games.
B) You have to be on top of the score chart in the crucible with minimal effort.
C) You suck at using other weapons: hand cannons, scout rifles, pulse rifles, auto rifles with recoil.
D) You suck at using real auto rifles.
E) Probably all of the above.

I've had a suros maxed out for a few weeks. As well as a maxed out shadow price. The shadow price is better than the suros in every single aspect. Yet, a blue galahad will out perform both of them. If your getting owned by a suros, it's the person using it, not the gun.

I bought it when it first came around mainly because I wanted a legendary or exotic auto rifle to replace my rare one but I only use Suros in the raid when on oracles and sometimes in PVP now I have other guns I have that I like more

I use one and people who actually exploit it's weaknesses outgun me every time, and that's why I'm slowly seeing people move on from the gun... Because there realizing it isn't all that. Get close to a player using it... my god it's not difficult. If you challenge me at mid range you deserve to die. And any hand cannon user that is somewhat skilled at all easily outguns me. Stop crying.

No one in any sport hinders themselves by playing with inferior equipment to increase the challenge. Games should be no different.

1 ReplyI bought it the first time but don't even use it. Rather use a legendary primary and stick the exotics for secondaries as easier switching of high damage out puts elemental damage.

I passed on it the first time because I already had and enjoyed my Shadow Price. I bought it this time simply because I want to collect, but I'll play around with it and see how I like it. So far... I'd rather stick to using Shadow Price in more intense situations.
