Sounds like an assumption

That maybe so, but it is also high possible based off of his post.

Yeah, so ugh, how did you get that Mythoclast may I ask what strategy you used?

Edited by Jasondurgen: 10/24/2014 10:20:54 PMOn the Praetorians at the beginning (hard mode), we just winged it and formed the spire within about 3-5 minutes. On the Confluxes, we separated into 2 teams of 3 to protect both side Confluxes and when the third spawned, we separated into 3 teams of 2. On the oracles, we just stayed in our groups and when one spawned, we called it out and rushed to take it down. For the Templar, we hid in the far back left where the oracle spawns, and whenever my super charged, I'd jump out and take his shields down and my entire team focused fire on him. We kept doing that until he died, which took about 5-10 minutes. For the labyrinth, we just grabbed the chests and went through it normally. For the jump puzzle, we just jumped onto the third platform that spawns and from there, jumped to the wall. For the gatekeepers, 2 teams of 2 went into each portal at the same time and took down the gatekeepers in there, grabbed the relics, ran out and defended the Conflux for for the allotted time. That took about 5-10 minutes. For Atheon, we had 3 sunsingers opening the portals outside while another Sunsinger, a hunter, and a Titan ran were in the portal team. The Sunsinger would just res if he died, which he never did (he held the relic). The striker would tear apart the enemies that spawn in each portal with his super. The hunter would take as many oracle as he could with his golden gun, then swapped to an Epilogue. When it was time to attack Atheon, we did the traditional "Hop into the center platform, put up the shield, and ruin his day until there was 3 seconds left" strategy. Managed to snatch the Mythoclast, the ship, and some shards from it.

.. Unexpected wall of text, I think you're passionate about playing this game, that is awesome. A hole in your plot, you mentioned your titan was a striker. Well then how did you disengage the relic from the center platform safely without a titan bubble, while still ensuring the relic carrier was teleported as one of the back three, if he was the last to leave. Did you mean more like ~5 seconds? I was hoping you didn't grenade him off and get a Mythoclast.

Edited by Jasondurgen: 10/24/2014 10:58:26 PMOh, sorry! I forget to mention that lol. He swaps to a defender whenever the enemies in the portal are dead so he can put his shield up, then, when the shield is up outside, he swaps back to striker.
-
Makes sense if the Hunter can solo the first 2-3 oracles.
-
Yeah, it worked really well. We did it on the first try lol
-
Actually how would the striker bubble at the last second and then still enter the teleport with his striker super? that would mean he would bubble much earlier than 3 seconds left? To allow time to switch & for time's vengeance to fill his striker super?
-
The Titan puts his bubble up at around 7 seconds, then swaps to the striker. At that time, the person with the relic falls back and the remaining people stay behind the bubble shooting Atheon until the 3 second mark. It was pretty hard to shoot him from around the bubble, but we usually just jumped into the air and fired rockets at him.

Edited by Predator: 10/24/2014 11:34:31 PMI usually use that time to shoot the deployed supplicants that are raining bullets, while using the bubble to refill the shield. You have to worry about the detain field, which will kill you when you jump if it catches you at peak height and you fall out... Are you sure you guys jumped and shot rockets, that sounds double risky, might shoot your friend in the back, might get caught in the detain midair. *edit* obviously this depends if you are using weapons of light or blessing of light.

Edited by Jasondurgen: 10/24/2014 11:46:28 PMWhenever the guy with the relic jumps back, it's usually a FFA from there. A few of is would shoot the supplicants to dwindle their numbers, a few might continue shooting Atheon with rockets or any other weapon. I usually found myself and my friend jumping and firing rockets while a third was shooting him from the ground and the other two were trying to take out the supplicants. That didn't happen every time, but for the most part, that's what happened When we did jump into the air, we made sure we got back to the ground fast. We didn't jump too high, but high enough to get 2 rockets off fast. The detain fields actually went up usually right after we hit the ground so it worked pretty well. It was very risky and we actually almost killed ourselves a few times, but we did it lol edit There was a moment where all of us jumped into the air and shot some rockets and it still worked out well, but the same results occurred, as in we almost wiped from a mass suicide xD, so we just stuck with 2-3 people jumping at once.
