People need to learn to respect themselves, and not to derive the attention or opinions of others to develop a sense of self-worth. Raptor0348 is right. Offense is never given, it is taken, and it is on YOU to control how you react to others.

Getting over it was a little difficult, but once i understood I'm in control of my own life, choices, and emotions. Everything works out. I understand depression is a real thing, but it's not impossible to overcome with the correct state of mind. Its different for everyone though i get.
