Rule one of law never admit guilt completely dishonest but there you go. This will never happen sorry, I really wish I was wrong but there you go.
If they did admit that the game was not as advertised they would be open to a lawsuit from every single person on the planet and they (bungie and activision) would be bankrupt.

They won't. As long as they keep their mouths shut, the money will continue to roll in, the fanboys will continue to defend them, and they can get away with whatever they want. You can petition for free DLC, you can boycott the DLC, practically anything you do short of strolling up into Bungie headquarters and putting a bullet in someone's head is going to fail and be utterly ignored by a company who has sold their soul to greed and no longer cares for their playerbase.
