Well i mean, the warlocks melee has a 20 feet range which can light you on fire, or drain your health and give it back to said warlock. The hunter has a throwing knife which can one hit kill as well. Theyre all situationally good at times, and bad at others. Honestly man, when you try shoulder charge youll change your mind. Everyone that says its op hasnt tried it. All of my friends thought it was op too, once they tried it they changed their tune.

  • The warlock comparison is irrelevant. Again you are comparing a melee with a non-melee ability. I do like the hunter comparison with the throwing knife though. What would the warlock have that's extra from their melee or grenade? I can't find it and I have 5 days logged into a warlock. That's the point I'm trying to make.

  • Throwing knives are only one hit kill with a headshot and DoT.

Your bullshit barrier melee that gets activated when you just hit someone with your god melee from like 40 feet away.

  • If you want to discuss the warlock's melee ability being op, take it elsewhere this post is not about that.

  • Also, if were just comparing melee abilities, the warlocks melee abilities are miles ahead of the titan melee. The titan melee is basically a more powerful punch, that has the ability to charge faster, drop orbs, or leave a small AoE with a KILL. the warlocks melees can steal health, set you a blaze, push you back with a lunge, all from 20 feet out.

  • I couldnt tell you. Ive only got a day and a half as a sunsinger and havent touched voidwalker. But like i said, theyre all situational man. The energy drain melee is pretty damn good with its huge range. They all have good melee and melee like abilities. Im just sick of people crying titans are op, then i look and they dont even have a titan class.

  • I feel you on the crying issue. I wish people would discuss things more than just doing what the guy did who originally posted this thread. I have to disagree with you though on people knocking the class when they haven't played it. I mean, I did say I don't like knocking things I haven't tried but at the same time it is still possible to critique it. From a personal standpoint I just like to go more in depth and hands on. The current state of the game affects things like this as well. i mean people are all running around with short ranged guns in the current meta and I think that's where the shoulder charge excels. All in all I believe it should just put you on one shot instead of the one hit kill. I just hate 1 shot kills in pvp

  • Yeah. I mean, i dont think shoulder charge is op. And if they nerf it, they better get rid of the entire screen blurring. Or at least tone the blur down. I dont think they should just drop its damage and leave everything else as is.

I agree, I think that would actually be very fair imo. Taking away the screen blur would allow the titan to finish off the opponent with a single headshot, but at the same time allow that opponent to recover and potentially outgun if they are skilled enough. I just want to see some room for counter play. I just miss the halo days when it was purely about who was better with the BR. or just who was better in terms of gun skill lol.
