Daily "where's the Bad Juju/Thorn buff you announced over a month ago?" thread
Well?
You have the time to nerf the Mythoclast and adjust values for Scout Rifles across the board within the same time span, but don't have the time to buff the exotics you stated you were going to adjust over a month ago? At the time when you announced the buffs, 99% of the community didn't even know the Mythoclast existed. Yet, the Mythoclast got adjusted before the other guns get their already announced buffs? Do you even logic?
There's really no excuse for it at this point.
Edit: I realize some of you think the Thorn does not need a buff, and while that's fine (I don't have it, I don't know), it's also missing the point. The real focus here is the fact that Bungie announced that they were going to buff both the Bad Juju and Thorn over a month ago, yet no changes have been made still (but changes were made to other guns during the same time frame).

You do know it isnt that hard. They just need to change some number values. The only long part is the "finding the right value to change it to part". They fixed loot caves in a heart beat by simply increasing respawn time.

In honesty y'all, Bungie don't care two craps about what they promised, it would have taken them all of 20 secs to edit the values in a database to update them but they still can not manage to do it. Don't ever get your hopes up, games companies are there for thing only sales. They will hype a game and spend a lot of their budget on promo and marketing to ensure sales and once they have your money, KAPOW, no more quality. Prime example would be that they still don't let you turn off auto-aim, they still haven't fixed the problem with players in your party going deaf/mute, they haven't added the simplest of in-game sounds option (a game in 2014 - not 1994 disgraceful). Just look at how DICE never patched battlefield 4 when it freezed up your console every 20 mins, once these guys have your money, there's no refunds and no care except how much dlc they will sell, once the final dlc comes out, people leave the company and they move on to their next game, never to return to the ghost-town that becomes their "flagship product." Ask Activision they will tell you how to milk console gamers money efectively in a simple strategic fashion, except instead of 4 dlc's here the tight souls have ripped us off with just 2 for £35, $56, E48. Two depressingly small bundles with minimal in the way of value, hell I can tell you for 100% that they ran out of viable story so they carted half off to destiny 2 and chopped up destiny 1 in to a shoddy story mode with bits "sold" (scum of the earth tactic) to us at a later date.

Maybe and this is just a hope here but the bad juju is getting void damage and a overall damage buff that's what's taking so long

I have to agree... It's becoming increasingly obvious that the focus isn't on PvE.. Or on making improvements really, rather just "fixing" the unintended booboos. There are a lot of fixes that are needed; the underpowered exotics, the raid glitches, visual glitches like chest that aren't really there... Yet the focus remains on PvP and PvP related "events". I guess they're waiting to fix things when they can bundle the patches with DLC that they can charge us for...

I disagree, thorn definitely needs one. I got to the first damage upgrade, and then stopped, at least for now. Only a quicker reload. Although it would have to be faster than the last word. Cause right now, the last word out matches thorn in every way

I have ju ju and thorn. I love tjorn but it needs a better reload, and its dot needs to stack. Ju ju I have leveled up somewhat but it now sits in my bank as its just to underpowered and soc does not make up for the 15 round magazine capacity either. I have been waiting for the buffs as well.

Idk how they'll buff juju because the only good stats are fire rate and stability is ok

i earned a bad juju thru the bounty, i thought it was cool then i realized 5 shot burst...i loled........ the effect is tight tho.

The thorn either needs a bigger clip or faster reload. It's actually a pretty good gun. But the bad juju needs a massive clip buff. 15 is way to small for that gun, you're lucky to get 1 kill in that clip

1 ReplyBecause you can 3 shot with Thorn in Crucible and no one uses Juju in Crucible. The numbers and PVP complaints are high enough to warrent a buff. The Mythocast got a nerf cause everyone found out how to cheese Atheon 3 times a week so the percentage of players that now own a mythocast far surpassed the numbers Bungie were figuring to work with this early into release.
