Thursday Night Raid group
I have started a new Thursday night raid group. Since there are 2 pieces of raid gear I still need I'm probably looking to run on normal. I can start about 8:30-9 pm and play until between 12-1 am. I would like to try to run it from the beginning to the end each Thursday if possible and I do have experience through the entire thing.
Level 29 Warlock (primarily use Sunsinger, but Voidwalker is fully upgraded also).
I have good weapons of every shield type.
I know what I'm doing with the relic.
Let me know if you would like to be an alternate in our raid group on the PS4.
I'm also on every morning by 5 am and play to 7:30 am on weekdays and 9 am on Sundays.

Thanks to all who ran last night, really enjoyed it and definitely a learning experience. Hope you guys stayed on long enough to finish it off, but 1am is late enough for an old man like me. Looking forward to the next attempt!

7 RepliesHere is the breakdown of my "raid" character. I think it could be helpful if we post something like this when trying to determine who would be best in what role. 1. TheNassman - Level 29 Warlock - Sunsinger (also voidwalker fully upgraded). Best raid weapons= Primary=Vision of Confluence Scout Rifle - 267 attack (oracle disrupter perk) also has solar damage. Secondary=Icebreaker sniper rifle - fully upgraded (solar damage)/ a rare fusion rifle with void damage 224 attack Heavy=Zombie Apocalypse Machine Gun - fully upgraded (void damage) / The Truth Rocket Launcher - 260 attack Helpful strengths=I can spawn with full grenades every time (I get 2 grenades). I also have the self revive, so sometimes I'll throw my grenades then get killed self revive and throw 2 more grenades. With my super everyone around me can get ultra quick cooldowns on grenades. (The last time I beat Atheon I was able to throw about 10 grenades at him in a row.) I have a good amount of time as a relic holder, I wouldn't claim to be amazing at using the super, but I know what I'm doing with it. I have been in the VOG enough times 1st hand and have watched enough videos to know what needs to be done in each stage.

5 RepliesCount me in for Thursdays. Lvl 28 Titan..both roles maxed. Have "Oracle Killer" perk on weapon, so probably be best at that. Ive also ran through every role and completed VOG several times. Still looking for any raid gear since all it wants to give me is the damn shader and shotguns.

1 ReplyPhantom, I agree you should be an oracle killer if you have that perk, but teleportation is now random so you may be outside dealing with supplicants....

(If you can't be on by 9 pm est please indicate what your "normal" time is) Also, if you can't be on by that time on any week, but will be only a little late then please send a message so we hold your spot. Just some random thoughts and ideas for our group.... My focus during "non raid time" is going to do things to focus on leveling up my best "raid weapons" (ones with void damage) Buying weapons that are geared towards the raid. I'm working on leveling up 2 alts so that I can get more ascendant material by running the daily 3 times per day. Also, you can run the weekly heroic and nightfall 3 times to get more legendary gear and coins. We should try to farm in groups (with each other or others) so that you get max xp to level your gear quicker. Buy the stuff from Xur that allows you to level up your weapons much faster - I've heard they work very well! We should make sure we're all "psn friends" as I think the more we work together during the week if possible, the better we'll work together in the raid. I'd like to all be in the same clan if possible, so if any of us can't get in this clan "DOD EST PS4", then maybe we could all join one together. It's not a big deal, but I know I want to platinum this game and you need to complete a raid with a team of clan members to do it.

Laghinman - 29 hunter / 26 titan (striker?) jsrh - 27 hunter (gunslinger, almost 28, need a few shards) Also, I'm assuming you've all done it before. I have not. Happy to be given a role but I have a few questions: Opening the door - 2 groups of 3 or 3 groups of 2 (do Ads spawn near the top gate or do they walk up the hill?) I am a bit unsure about the first phase of the Aetheon battle - gatekeepers etc. Finally with the random teleporting we need to decide who is going to pick up the relic. I think we need 3 as it is unlikely that all 3 relic bearers will be kept outside the portal.

If you have yet to do the Raid, no worries, well walk you through it. We will make sure you know what to do and give you roles that might be easier(With a HEAVY emphasis on "might")

2 RepliesHi thenassman, I am running a level 28 warlock (voidwalker fully upgraded, sunsinger 2/3 upgraded). Have all purple armor but helmet, and purple primary and heavy. Have a mic but never have done vog; quick learner and willing to help. I log on about 9pm est; do u have a spot in your team?
