Thorn: extremely difficult to obtain, extremely underwhelming to use. I have one, and I really enjoy hand cannons, but I won't use it. I can't speak for it leveled up, but there are other guns I would rather invest time and resources into right now. I don't own a Bad Juju yet, but I know people that do and the general consensus is lackluster. I'm with you my friend, these promised buffs should come sooner than later.

  • Thorn is a monster with the stability perk and the dot.

  • Exotics should be difficult to obtain

  • I agree. But the juice should be worth the squeeze.

  • Same here. They just take up space with super good advice and pocket infinity.

  • Pocket Infinity doesn't suck, where is this coming from? What other fusion rifle is stronger than it? Plan C? No it isn't, Pocket Infinity is the Last word to Plan C's Hawkmoon. Pocket infinity is a short range weapon, but the burst is still there.

I have both plan c and pocket infinity. Plan c is way better in every situation that doesn't involve solar. Faster charge, longer rang, better handling, better perks. Bit pocket infinity is probably the best weapon from bounties.

  • I have both too, pocket infinity is a far better close range weapon than Plan C, I don't know if you upgraded infinity at all but it is considerably more powerful than Plan C at a close range due to the burst.

With plan c after switching weapons you get an instant shot. How could that be better at close range? I'd say a fusion rifle any fusion rifle at close range is going to produce the same result. If someone said I could only keep one it would be plan c. But someone else may think doesn't I guess? I just don't think any of the exotic bounty weapons are great. They are good legendaries at best.

  • Switching weapons constantly isn't as good as a 3 round burst with infinity, It sounds you didn't even upgrade the infinity and are just working off the base model. There is a reason the thing was nerfed to begin with, and it still is a great close range weapon. Out of all the exotic bounty weapon only the infinity is actually good, BadJuJu, Thorn, Super Good Advice, and Invective aren't the best. But Invective is still decent pvp under the right hands.

  • I've still noticed a lot of people using invective but I don't like the super slow reload. I've got it leveled and it's neat but I still like plan c better. No charge time gives me at least one kill per swap. It all comes down to play style.

  • Yeah, the reload time makes it less valued than Found Verdict to some people, and not as useful as Universal Remote for double shotgun. So you can just use Universal Remote and Found Verdict. Plan C for PvP it is a better fusion rifle in most situations because of the range and charge rate, but you use the Infinity as a shotgun pretty much in Pvp but with better range, the charge time is technically based you have to know what you are doing with the weapon before you use it or you will find out you will be outgunned in most situations. Infinity and Plan C in PvE I compare the two to The Last Word and Hawkmoon, because they both serve different functions. But if you are speaking of PvP, because of the Suros Regime, you pretty much have to go with Plan C because of the dominance of Suros currently in Crucible.

  • Ya I hate to see them nerf anything but it's probably coming for suros.

  • Well yeah, it is just too dominant in PvP, feels like a different game because of it. They really need to separate the nerfs from PvP and PvE. I really don't want another trash exotic that needs a buff in my inventory, and I am not the kind of guy who shards exotics unless I have more than three. I think Xur should have never sold Exotics except the engrams, they should have made unique legendaries you can get from Xur right from the base game and made exotics completely random (from engrams or strike/knightfall/raid rewards), I was all for Xur selling exotics but people are getting them all too fast and the new exotics won't even be here until december, like imagine if Xur sold Plan C. I guarantee there will be people crying for nerfs on her the second it is.

  • I agree but xur shouldn't have even sold weapon engrams, only armor engrams in my opinion.

  • Oh yeah of course, being that there is only 21 exotics that aren't Mythoclast that would also perpetrate the overgrowing saturation of exotic weapons in game.

I'm fine with people getting better armor and then going out and earning their weapons.
