I finally beat the raid last night. I'm a lvl 29 Hunter (was 28 when I did the raid last night) and I don't feel like I was worthless at all. I was on Oracle duty on the left side for the Templar, and I opened the gates and killed Supplicants for Atheon. Why do people always say that Hunters are worthless? After reading a little bit on this forum, the only thing I can think of is it's because we can't lob thousands of grenades and glitch the bosses. Am I correct? And if I am, then that's silly.
