Is there even any point in trying to win PVP?

It is so frustrating to be in the top two slots of your team for multiple games in a row. And before you all run to my profile and point out that i'm not always top... I know i'm not. I have good runs and bad runs. The point is when you bust your balls and get top slot in your team and MVP of the game it is absolutely soul destroying to see that the guy who got 1 kill and 17 deaths get THUNDERLORD whilst i'm rewarded with the same rare shotgun i received two games ago. Then there's the getting over a 9.0 K/d spread in a game and getting diddly squat, only to have the guy that stood still for half the game then came out with a 0.07 (didn't even know it was possible to go that low) get two legendary weapon engrams. I am not saying give the top guy all the cool stuff, but at least give him better stuff than the one who dragged the team down....

  • Doesn't bother me to be honest I mostly pvp for rep, exp and engrams. I have been first and last many times each and know sometimes it just isn't your day, face laggers or really skilled teams. I usually apply that mentality when someone gets a bad score and gets a prize. It's not as bad as people say either, it's just because the last player getting a good item is more memorable than if 1st-5th got one. And finally, what happens on the day you happen to play a crap game and walk away with an exotic? Do you take to the forums and complain? Dismantle the item out of principal? No, you get excited and celebrate, the guilty feeling fleeting in the face of your luck. (and sometimes even a little smirk of guilty pleasure you would never rub in)
