but the way iron banner was before the patch, it was exactly like the crucible. there was nothing to differentiate the two besides the name. if you want purely skill based pvp, thats what crucible is for.
furthermore, i think youll still see variety in the iron banner. there will be consolation prizes for losers like me, which we can save and eventually cash in somehow, so itll never be a TOTAL wash. and as infrequently as i play PvP, i doubt myself, or other PvEers, will ever have all the maxed iron banner gear. thats probably just going to be for the seriously dedicated iron banner participants.
