Edited by Vensh: 10/30/2014 5:18:54 PMDiablo has rng like this but they now added it to were you can get lots of good loot quickly and then spend time customizing your playstyle. Edit: but I get what you mean because I have 3 sets of level 30 hunter raid gear but only have Atheons epilogue raid weapon.

Destiny had a Trading system at a point but then it was cut off, thats why before the patch blues would turn green & purples would turn blue, it was so that the Trading economy was stable Look up the video on youtube explaining everything on this and more

Edited by XIII Doc IIIX: 10/30/2014 2:33:49 PMThere is no trading because not having it slows the rate of completion for people. Same reason everything is rng, it slows down progression. All crappy ways to make a game seem longer and more full of content that is actualy there. It sucks, its wrong and i hate it. I play and enjoy destiny for what it is. But once "real" games come out, i hope bungie/Activision and destiny burn. I welcome The Division, Evolve, and Dying Light, along with Bloodborne. At least i know Tom Clancy wont stand for subpar and the creators of Left4Dead are actualy gamers themselves. And Dark Souls creator is making bloodborne, enough said.

For you, is punctuation just something that happens to other people?
-
I feel like the ability to trade gear isn't what defines an MMO. Also, please use some punctuation. Here's some samples in case you're not sure what I'm talking about: . ! ? : : , '
-
It's not an MMO. It has elements of an mmo/rpg but it was never their intent to make it into those genres. I prefer the term open-world shooter.
-
Mmo, massively multiplayer online. 6 people coop and 12 people tops in pvp is not massive That being said, bungie however, has designed this game very similarly to other mmos, borrows many ideas, but then treats it like any other game that isn't an mmo.
-
I think trading is pretty lame and takes the fun out of it. Why should someone not have to work for what they have? It's just playing lazy and not fun. I did that with borderlands. I had friends dupe their weapons for me. I didn't have to work for anything. I felt like I cheated the game and it took all of the fun out if it because I never earned that stuff. Getting an awesome weapon or a neat piece of raid gear is a pretty cool feeling.

First word said is plane like I can't even finish reading obviously uneducated

Edited by CoxWagon: 10/30/2014 6:18:18 AM1: They said no trade system cause it's simply not big enough. 2. Learn how to express your points with a more intelligent and constructive attitude. 3. Spell out full words, no one can take you seriously with your preteen typing format. 4. Check your grammar as well, you have so many run-ons and fragments in there it's insane. 5. I agree with you, the RNG loot system can be VERY unforgiving, especially for the fact it only rewards you so many rewards per week. With the chance of shards and energy rewarding before anything else; expecting one item to drop will just frustrate you. Patience and time, patience and time.

Hey kid.. STOP PLAYING VIDEO GAMES AND STAY IN SCHOOL!!

I highly recommend everyone to read this out loud to someone else. Thumbs up
-
And how would it affect anyone anyway? Doesn't matter.
-
No one important said Destiny was an MMO though...
-
Is this the new troll trend..? Make a senseless post and use such poor grammar that 1/2 of the replies are about your "lack" of education. 0/10
-
Destiny is not an mmo it's a shared world shooter.
-
Except Bungie didn't say it was an MMO.
-
Oh my, the lack of a coherent sentence and basic grammar is cringe worthy. >.<
-
They said it would feel like a mmo they did not say it WOULD be a mmo. Feel like does not mean be exactly like as in have all the same features of a mmo. So no they dont have to fix it to make you happy. They never promised it would be exactly like a mmo.
-
Also because you can't exhaust all of an mmo's content in under 100 hours.
-
I Agree with you. :l

Edited by BlackHawkDrunk: 10/29/2014 5:59:51 AMAre you 9 or did a cat run across the keyboard repeatedly as you typed?

The game isn't massive in any way. You "share" the server with a max of 15 people, you can only play with 2 other people, and crucible matches are limited to 12. By definition it's not an MMO. It's an FPS with a couple RPG elements, nothing more.
-
It is still a MMO, reward drops don't decide if it is or isn't. Just because people have bad luck doesn't mean it's not. A trading system is not needed in a MMO. Even though I want trading, this game having none does not mean its not an MMO.
