So yeah, I'm a playstation player. (I'm pretty sure it proves that on my account right?) And looking at this dlc, I'm really hyped for it. And Xbox players, although I wouldn't be killing myself over not getting one strike, I do think it's pretty unfair that you're paying the same money and not getting access to your strike until fall 2015. But hey, if you look at the bright side, and you take into account that it's PROBABLE that playstation players will get exclusive stuff in the other dlc's, it'll be LIKE you're getting one big free dlc in fall 2015!!! Eh?? Eh?? (Trying to cheer yous up here :/ )

I dont mind exclusive content, but if it comes with the DLC, and the data for that strike is in the data you download, everyone should have access to it that buys it. Afterall, you are paying for that content. And considering this exclusivity is for a good period of time (not just a week), i just feel it isnt right and is hurting them more than whatever money was given to them for the exclusivity. Even if that hurt is strictly reputation. Now, if that strike is not part of the DLC, and is free for everyone, then you arent paying for that content and that data isnt in the DLC download. It is just one strike, but its not helping the longevity of the game by withholding content from half your playerbase. That just ends up hurting half the game. Still love the game, and will get the DLC, but recent patches have me concerned about the game, and the direction Bungie is trying to take it.

  • Only problem is If some stuff doesn't change im not going to still be playing destiny in Fall 2015.I love destiny but there isn't much content in these Dlc's for me.I don't have enough friends that have destiny to be able to do the raid so basically im paying 20 dollars for 3 story missions and a strike. If the Dlc's continue to be like this then there won't be enough content to still be playing in 2015.

  • Also, if anyone is to blame its Microsoft and not bungie. Sony spent money on their player base and paid for us to get this early. Microsoft clearly did not want to compete. In my opinion I think Microsoft are lucky that bungie are being given the blame for something that was microsofts decision.

  • I'm also sure part of it is because Bungie is still a little salty with Microsoft for how they pushed Bungie out of Halo.

  • Bungie wasn't PUSHED out of Halo, they WANTED out of Halo. They had a contract for 6 games, and when Microsoft asked them to renew for a new contract, they were like 'no' because they were sick of Halo and wanted to 'spread their wings' and work on a new IP, move on to 'bigger and better things.' But still salty about having their work continued despite wanting it to have ended? Yeah, they're probably still bitter.

  • Umm how is this Microsoft's fault?! Sorry they didn't want to spend couple of million of giving u the game early... U pick and choose ur battles...

  • It's still a cash grab by Activision and Bungie tho isn't it? They decided they wanted to be paid more for the exclusive content and Microsoft wasn't willing to outbid Sony? I don't know the full story so I could be way off the mark.
