Yes, yes it will make a difference. It add's more content. Instead of doing 5 of the same strikes you get one more, becoming less repeatitive. That is like saying having two strikes is pointless when there is only one strike. Content is everything for a game like this. And not everyone is high leve and does raids. No dev in their right mind would only cater to one specific group.
