I do understand your point of view. And it does suck... but I have to still say this: On contrary. Exclusives and console war is good for the all of the consoles. You know why? Competition. Remember last year when Microsoft was about to make the console "always online" and all those other "bad" decissions? Well Sony was there to offer a different package. So Microsoft saw that if they would stay the course, they would lose the customers. So they had to change things. Same thing happened in the PS3 and Xbox360 era, Sony was the one who did it that time thou. Point is, we need this rivaly and competition. WE PLAYERS don't have to be on eachothers troaths, that's for sure. But we need to make sure Microsoft and Sony are watching over eachothers. Same thing about exclusives. They are the ones that people look at the most when they buy the console. They want certain games, and certain consoles have these. They drive the market. If there was no exclusives, people would just go for ONE console and just forget the other one. And then the competition would die off... and the one that's left could charge what they want, could do what they please. In the larger scheme of things, exclusives is something we need.
