I'll wait and see if they get any exclusives I need to play. I loved my original Xbox. The 360 was nice to have access to, but I never remotely felt the need to own one.
Microsoft is going to have to spend a ton of money to get any true exclusives I care about. Their gaming library just skews too traditionally Western for me. I need unique and beautiful games like Okami and Shadow of Colossus in my library. Not to mention all the awesome first-party games, like Uncharted, God of War, Infamous, Beyond: Two Souls, Journey, Last of Us, etc.
And with Xbox One decidedly in second, Microsoft is less and less likely to be able to secure major exclusives. Tomb Raider was a nice coup, but it's not like there won't be great games to play before that comes to PS4.
That said, Xbox One is a great console. Just not for me. Not yet.

Yeah im happy with my 360 but definitely want to upgrade to the one just dont feel like shelling out $499.99 lol

It's only $350 right now! Or next week. http://kotaku.com/get-your-xbox-one-price-drop-right-now-pokemon-dual-pa-1651729111 That's pretty solid for AC Unity and a Kinect-less Xbox One. I'd buy it if I didn't want a Vita first.

damn thats very tempting lol

Haha, my bad. But seriously, $300 for an Xbox One? Crazy.

Edited by Hidefininja: 10/29/2014 9:36:40 PMOh, man. Unity looks so good. Co-op assassination gameplay with customizable loadouts? Do want. But yeah, it's crazy that they're not offering a similar CoD bundle. $500 for an Xbox One with a 1TB hd and CoD is a good deal, but that's still $500. I still need to invest in a 1TB hd for my PS4. With the age of digital downloads upon us, 500 gigs won't go very far. :/

Yeah the white xbox one bundle is also being dropped to $350 so ill probably get that lol too bad theres no destiny bundle with a white console I would totally buy that, just dont like psn or the playstation controller

PSN is great now. Parity plus at this point with party chat, two free games for each PlayStation system every month, and now you can do online couch co-op and let your friends take over your game, even if they don't own it, with SharePlay. Better than XBL, IMHO. Like I said, Microsoft is in full-on catchup mode.

We can agree to disagree on that my ps3 gets absolutely no love from me and couldn't pay me to buy a ps4 lol

I haven't turned on my PS3 in the last two months for any reason besides using Netflix when my PS4's been disconnected because I was taking it somewhere. Once GTAV drops for PS4, I'll have pretty much no reason to turn it on besides to play the classics. So we can agree to agree on no PS3 love? The thing's too damn slow now in comparison to the PS4. I recommend you do some detailed research on what the PS4's up to these days. As someone who's been gaming since 1991 and has owned almost every console made since the late 80's, I can say that, in my opinion, the PS4 is the best of the bunch and has a healthy lead on the Xbox One for good reason. But I understand if you've got an XBL community going on and don't want to leave it behind for slightly better everything. The DualShock 4 is also pretty damn great as far as console controllers go. So comfy. Real triggers. Great play and grip on the thumbsticks. I can barely use the DualShock 3 now. God forbid I pick up an Xbox 360 controller. I hate those triggers. They swing too far and feel so plasticky and springy, in a soft way. Buying a game on the PlayStation phone app while on the go and having it downloaded and ready to play when you get home is also pretty great. I'm just spoiled now by how great the PS4 is in comparison to its big brother.
