Realistically, we're all getting -blam!-ed sideways in one way or another.
Insomniac is releasing an Xbox One exclusive.
Tomb Raider is a 1-year Xbox One exclusive. And Microsoft is likely on the hunt for more deals like this.
Sony's paying for exclusive content in a bunch of games because they want to win by a landslide.
Pre-order bonuses are entirely out of control across the board.
And even GameStop's investing in exclusive content -blam!-ery during game development.
Luckily, if you do inflation math, videogames are cheaper than they have been in a long while.
Can't we all just hold hands and sing kumbaya while these corporations bend us over and take our $20 one thrust at a time?
That got graphic. Sorry, everyone.

Don't forget that Sony is supposedly set to announce a third party exclusive at the Playstation Experience this December. But yeah, when I think about PS4 getting content for a year long. I remember I'll never get to play Sunset Overdrive on PS4, I have to wait a year to play Rise of the Tomb Raider on PC (Since it is timed, I assume it'll launch on PC later) because it hasn't been announced for PS4... Yet?

It's coming to PS4. Don't worry. Just not for a year. Phil Spencer said it's a timed exclusive after the internet uproar due to Microsoft's vague use of the word "exclusive." I can't imagine a day when a Tomb Raider game will never end up on the current PlayStation console. Not gonna happen.
